Get your mom to make the doctor’s appointment, but meanwhile, keep a journal of your mood experiences and what you perceive as the possible triggers for change. Writing it all down may help you identify patterns you haven’t noticed otherwise, and it’ll give your doctor something concrete to look at—they like to see a paper record. It’ll also show the doctor that you’re concerned enough to make such a record.”
