I agree with you, Erin. Palin is a disgrace on so many levels.
In addition to inappropriate winking, I was really put off by her constant Stepford and beauty-contest-fake smile.
Because of her (and to a large extent MCain), I have registered to vote for the first time in many, many years. Obama gets my vote.

Oi, thank you for that amazing video of Mr. Trumka. He’s a great orator and a man of wisdom and vision. It numbed the horror of seeing Mrs. Palin a’ winkin’ at me again!
The cozy sporty tales I was prepared for. But the winks? Not so much. I was agog. But I think the most repulsive aspect was her continued use of the term “Maverick”.
The word lost it’s charm for me, when that Scientologist lunatic Tom Cruise played a Navy Flier with the nickname “Maverick”.
Also, the mavericks that I know do not answer to large groups of organized power: Something those in the real Navy do every day, just like McCain and Palin.
